Fill the spot you are short.
Coaches post an open roster spot for a game. Families whose athletes are marked available offer to play, a parent approves every invite, and after the game the coach and the family each answer one question: would you play together again?
01
Post the open spot.
Sport, position, age group, date and field. It goes out to athletes nearby whose families have marked them available.
Posting an opening is $2.99, or $49.99 a year for unlimited openings for one team. Joining and browsing available players are free.

02
See cards, not children.
Coaches can browse anonymous cards of available players near them, with no name, before posting anything. A card shows:
- Age group, like 12U
- Positions
- A distance range, like “within 10 mi”
- First name and last initial, only once their team is checked and has posted a spot
Posting is what shows you first names and lets you invite, and only after ProSlot has checked your team. A coach can only search for their own team’s sport and age group.
03
Invite through the parent.
Families offer to play, or you search by position and distance and invite someone yourself. What other coaches said about each player is right there.
Every invite goes to the parent or guardian, never the child. When the parent approves, the name goes on your card, and both sides get the time, the field and each other’s contact.
04
Tryouts, too.
Checked teams can also post tryouts for permanent roster spots, at the same price as posting an opening (the yearly team plan covers tryouts too). Families register their athletes for a tryout free.
05
Who checks eligibility.
The team. Every event and governing body has its own guest-player rules, and the team is responsible for making sure a guest is eligible. That goes for a league game, a scrimmage or a weekend tournament.
06
What it costs.
- Joining and browsing available players: free
- Posting an opening: $2.99
- Unlimited openings for one team: $49.99 a year
Before a team can see a name, post or invite, ProSlot staff confirm the coach’s identity and SafeSport training, and the coach accepts the code of conduct. Read how coaches are checked.
