Safety
Who can see your child, and when.
A network that puts kids in front of adults they haven't met has to be built for the worst person who might try to use it. These are the rules it runs on. They are enforced by the system, not left to anyone's judgment on the day.
01
No coach sees a name until we've checked them.
Any signed-in coach can see that players are out there: an age group, positions and a distance range, with no name and nothing that says who or where. To see a first name, post a spot or send an invite, a team has to be approved, and ProSlot staff approve it only after confirming the coach's identity, a background check and SafeSport training, each current when the team is approved, and the coach has accepted the code of conduct below. A coach can't approve their own team.
02
A coach sees a card, not a child.
What a coach sees
- Age group, like 12U
- Positions
- A distance range, like “within 10 mi”
- First name and last initial, only once their team is checked and has posted a spot
What a coach never sees
- Last name
- Birthday
- Address or town
- School
- Photos (we don’t take any)
- Your phone or email, until you say yes
A coach can only search for their own team's sport and age group. A player can play up to three years older, never down, and adults are never shown to youth teams or youth to adult teams.
03
Nothing happens until you say yes.
Every invite comes to the parent or guardian, never the child. Adults 18 and over manage their own listing. Contact details are exchanged only after you accept, and only with that one team, for that one game. Every time a team is shown a family's contact, it's recorded.
Switch your athlete to unavailable and they disappear from every search at once.
04
What every coach agrees to.
- Guest players take part only in scheduled team games, practices and tournaments, with other adults present.
- No one-on-one time with a guest player, and no rides.
- I contact the parent or guardian only, never the athlete, and only about the game they accepted.
- I will not share, copy or keep a family's details beyond the game they accepted.
- I agree to identity, background and SafeSport checks, and to the Player Network removing my team at any time.
05
Limits no one can talk their way past.
- 60 searches a day per coach
- 15 invites a day per team
- 10 waiting invites per open spot
- Searches reach 50 miles at most
Every search a coach runs is logged, with who ran it and which athletes it showed.
06
One report takes a team off the network.
If a coach does anything that worries you, report the team from the invite in your account. The team is suspended the moment you send it and every invite it has out is withdrawn. ProSlot staff review it and write down what was decided; a team only comes back once that's done and its checks still stand.
After a game you're asked one question: would you play with this team again? Say no, or block a team at any time, and your athletes never appear to it again. A coach who says no about your athlete stops seeing them too. ProSlot staff can pause any listing or any team at any time.
If anyone is in danger, call 911 first.
